Getting French!

I'm having fun putting every French stereotype into a burlesque act. It's really easy to find stripes in the shops at the moment too. I love the look on shop assistants' faces when you ask for something really specific, like a yellow sponge that resembles cheese. You can see them trying to work out what the hell you want it for. Once I had to tell a man at bunnings that I wanted hinges for a giant shell that I could fit inside. He was old and blokey and gave me the strangest look! Trying to describe burlesque to people who have never heard of it is quite a funny one too.
