Capes and gardens

This is my cape, and I love it. The other night was perfect cape weather- cool enough to wear stockings, but warm enough to wear no sleeves, with a bit of a breeze. I love cape weather.

So I've started on my vegie garden with a few pots. I'm very new to this, and researching gardening advice is confusing but interesting. I planted some seeds and some seedlings. This is definitely going to test my patience- some of the seeds don't show at all for 10 days. I reckon anyone planning on having a child should try looking after a garden first. I've planted coriander, basil, chives, zucchini, carrots and beetroot. I also bought a big compost bin which is already filling up fast. Its crazy how much waste is produced in the average household. Eep, I'm turing into one of those people that like going to BUNNINGS on their day off! HA!
